What is local information here, and what is not?
OC Public Works announced concrete repairs in the Fullerton Creek flood-control channel between Dale Street and Brookhurst Road, scheduled for June through October 2024. That dated public-work notice establishes the channel project only. It cannot show that a particular house flooded or that any of these eight ZIP codes has a single risk level.
Where can you look up an address?
The FEMA Flood Map Service Center provides official flood-hazard products and accepts an address search. Results can change when maps are updated. Use a complete address rather than treating a ZIP code as a hazard finding; seek qualified help to interpret what a map does and does not say.
Are public storm drains the same as indoor damage?
OC Public Works includes Fullerton in its North Orange County stormwater partnership for a municipal drain system. A public drainage program does not diagnose a roof, pipe, wall or floor inside your home. For building questions choose the services guide; for insurance terms use the insurance guide.
Stay away from the affected area, do not touch electrical switches, outlets or appliances near water, and call a professional. If anyone is in danger, leave the area and call 911.
Calls go to voicemail, not a live provider. Messages are recorded and transcribed after the greeting. You can email us instead.
